Transparent Pay-As-You-Go Pricing

StoreLocale pricing: pay-as-you-go credits for AI screenshot translation

StoreLocale is free for designing, framing and exporting screenshots. AI screenshot translation uses one-time credit packs (Starter $9 for 30 credits, Launch $29 for 120 credits, Scale $69 for 350 credits). Each localized screenshot costs 1, 2 or 4 credits depending on quality, and credits never expire.

How many screenshots does each credit pack cover?

A run is one AI-localized screenshot: one slide repainted in one target language. The quality tier sets both the credit cost and the output resolution of the generated image.

Screenshots per pack by quality tier
PackPriceCreditsPer creditStandard (1 cr, 1K)Pro (2 cr, 2K)Ultra (4 cr, 4K)
Starter$930$0.3030157
Launch$29120$0.241206030
Scale$69350$0.2035017587

Example: localizing 6 screenshots into 5 languages is 30 runs. On Standard that uses 30 credits, which is the whole Starter pack. On Pro it uses 60 credits, so the Launch pack (120 credits) covers the set twice.

What does not use credits?

  • The canvas editor, device frames, templates and text styling.
  • AI text detection and translation of the detected strings. Only the image repaint is billed.
  • Regenerating a screenshot whose inputs have not changed. The saved result is reused instead of billed again.
  • Generations that fail. Reserved credits are refunded automatically.
  • Generations made with your own OpenRouter or Gemini API key (BYOK). Your provider bills you directly.
  • ZIP and PNG exports in any number of languages and size presets.

Which quality tier should you pick?

Standard (1 credit, 1K) is the default and suits drafts and quick checks across many languages. Pro (2 credits, 2K) is a middle ground for final store uploads. Ultra (4 credits, 4K) targets the highest resolution and steps down automatically if the model cannot produce 4K.

What do people ask about credits and pricing?

Is StoreLocale a subscription?

No. Credit packs are one-time purchases in U.S. dollars with no recurring fee, and purchased credits do not expire. Checkout shows the final amount before you pay.

Do new accounts get free credits?

New accounts can receive 5 welcome credits after an automated abuse check. The grant is not guaranteed: it can be held for manual review or declined.

How does bring-your-own-key (BYOK) pricing work?

Add an OpenRouter or Google Gemini API key in settings and generations use 0 StoreLocale credits. The key is stored in your browser's local storage, so you need to add it again on another device.

Can I get a refund?

You can request a refund for unused credits bought within the last 14 days. See the refund policy for the full terms.
