What is StoreLocale?

StoreLocale localizes the screenshots you already have. You upload the images, the app finds the UI text, translates it, and redraws each string in place so the screenshot reads naturally in another language. Everything else in the image, such as layout, icons and photos, is meant to stay as it was.

Around that pipeline sits a slide editor with device frames, headline text, backgrounds and templates. You can localize into 32 target languages from an English source, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese and the right-to-left languages Arabic and Hebrew. See the full list on the languages page.

The product launched as Frameful in August 2026 and was renamed StoreLocale on September 21, 2026. Accounts, projects and credits carried over unchanged. The changelog lists what shipped and when.

Who operates it?

StoreLocale is a product of Oxbit Labs (opens in a new tab), a software company based in Bursa, Turkey. Oxbit Labs builds, runs and supports the service and is the party behind the terms, privacy policy and refund policy.

Who is it for?

  • Indie developers who ship in one language and want localized store listings without rebuilding screenshots for each market.
  • Mobile teams that already translate their app strings but still hand screenshots to a designer for every locale.
  • ASO and marketing teams preparing localized screenshot variants for store listing tests in several countries.

A typical example: a habit tracker with five English screenshots that wants German, Japanese and Korean listings. Instead of recreating 15 images by hand, the team runs the three locales, reviews each slide, and exports one ZIP organized by platform, locale and size.

How does the AI pipeline work?

  1. Text detection. A vision model reads every UI string on the screenshot, with its position, color, alignment and weight. It skips the status bar and icon-only controls.
  2. Translation. A language model translates the detected strings and keeps brand names and tokens such as 4K, HD or AI unchanged. You can edit any translation before generating.
  3. Generative repaint. An image model replaces each source string in place, trying to match font, weight and color. Video frames, posters and rating badges are protected so they are not rewritten.
  4. Human review. You compare the localized slide with the original side by side, fix anything that looks wrong, and only then export.

Text detection and translation cost 0 credits. The repaint step uses credits by quality tier: Standard 1 credit (1K), Pro 2 credits (2K) and Ultra 4 credits (4K). If you bring your own Gemini or OpenRouter API key, generations use 0 platform credits; the key is kept in your browser's local storage and sent along with each request.

What principles guide the product?

  • Free where it should be. Text detection and translation cost 0 credits, so you only spend credits when a slide is actually repainted.
  • Honest limits. Exports are PNG files, and you upload them to App Store Connect or Play Console yourself. One design is scaled to every export size from a 1320x2868 base, so check non-iPhone sizes before you upload.
  • Pay as you go, no subscription. Credits come in one-time packs (Starter $9 for 30, Launch $29 for 120, Scale $69 for 350) and do not expire. Details are on the pricing page.
  • No paying twice for the same work. Unchanged localized assets are reused instead of billed again, duplicate uploads are skipped, and failed generations return their credits.

How is your data handled?

Projects autosave in your browser and sync to your account in the cloud, so they are available when you sign in on another device. The privacy policy explains what is collected, why, and how to ask for access, correction or deletion.

  • Sign in with email and password (with email verification), Google or GitHub.
  • Optional two-factor authentication with an authenticator app (TOTP) and backup codes.
  • CAPTCHA on sign-up and sign-in, and rate limits on sign-in and generation endpoints.
  • Before deleting a project, you can download it as a ZIP archive.
